About
As POSCO, specialised in automotive steel, the company was established in 2009 to meet the needs of leading firms in Turkey’s automotive industry on time.
- The investment project was approved in 2008.
- The company was founded in 2009 (POSCO TNPC Otomotiv Çelik San. ve Tic. A.Ş.) and the site was selected.
- Official opening and start of operations took place in 2010.
- ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certificates were obtained in 2012.
At Bursa Hasanağa OSB we serve with 170,000 tonnes annual capacity, 13,000 m² indoor and 32,000 m² total area.
POSCO decided on a steel service-centre investment in December 2008. After founding the joint-stock company on 4 August 2009 it chose Bursa and purchased the site on 17 September 2009. Total area is 31,700 m²; plant area 12,476 m². The plant has blanking press, cut-to-length and slitting machines; annual capacity is 170,000 tonnes.

Cut-to-Length Sheet

Slit Coil

Die-Cut Blanking Sheet
On the blanking line, die cutting and trapezoidal cutting are applied mainly to automotive steels from 0.50 mm to 3.00 mm. The 800-tonne press processes coils 400–1800 mm wide to the required size. Maximum coil weight on the line is 20 tonnes. Source: posco.com.tr blanking-line page.

Blanking Line Service
The line processes 0.50–3.00 mm sheet by die cutting and trapezoidal cutting. Published capacity is an 800-tonne press, 400–1800 mm coil width and 20-tonne max coil. Main use is automotive steel. Source: posco.com.tr blanking page.
Cut-to-Length Line Service

Slitting Line Service
