About

The Çınar Group's manufacturing investments began in 1980, when civil engineer Abdülkadir Çınar set up a small plant in İzmir to produce polymer bathtubs; the business accelerated in 1992 when his son Ahmet Çınar joined. In 1986 Abdülkadir Çınar started producing glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) translucent corrugated sheets and founded Polser Şeffaf Çatı Örtüleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. for this new-generation engineering product. The company's first continuous production plant came on stream in March 1997, and a second production line completed in 2000 tripled capacity. Today Polser is the leader in the domestic market and a significant GRP sheet manufacturer internationally. As a Çınar Group company, Polser exports most of its production to a wide geography, chiefly European Union countries, from the USA to New Zealand. In 2020 the company's name was changed to Polser Kompozit Ürünler Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. to better reflect its growing product range. Polser produces GRP sheets and panels for construction, cooling towers, agriculture and livestock, healthcare, food, automotive and highway/advertising sectors. Its quality approach is certified with ISO 9001 from Bureau Veritas; products carry TSE certification in Turkey and the quality marks of the countries where they are sold.

DURAPAN GRP Roof Sandwich Panel

DURAPAN is a GRP roof panel with 1.8 mm GRP top and bottom skins and a 40 g/cm³ PU/PIR foam core; it weighs 8.40 kg/m² and has an ISO NPG gelcoat top surface. Durapan ST (ES3d0 PUR) and Durapan FR (CS3d0 PIR) are made in 40 and 50 mm thickness with 4-rib 35/1000 and 5-rib 32/1000 profiles. Resistance to acids, chlorine and seawater and a -40/+120 °C service range suit chemically aggressive sites and livestock buildings.

DURASER Opaque GRP Sheet

DURASER are opaque GRP sheets produced by continuous moulding on modern lines and mainly exported to Europe; they combine high-quality polyester resin with glass fibre. ST, M, MX, JUV, FR, ACOR and ACON grades offer orthophthalic/isophthalic resin with Melinex film or gelcoat surfaces; FR is BS 476/7 Class 1, the others DIN 4102 B2. Low thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance suit roof and facade cladding.

FIBRALAM Translucent and Opal GRP Sheet

FIBRALAM are translucent and opal GRP corrugated, trapezoidal and flat sheets made on a continuous moulding system with 7,000,000 m² annual capacity. On request both faces can be film or ISO NPG gelcoat coated to extend life against UV, acid rain and corrosive chemicals; the FR grade meets BS 476-7 class 1/3 and DIN 4102. Used for factory and warehouse roofs and facades, sports halls, greenhouses, car parks and daylighting.
