Poligon Mühendislik
Poligon Mühendislik, based in Ümraniye since 2013, offers product development, rapid prototyping, quality control and low-volume manufacturing.
About
Poligon Mühendislik is an engineering firm specialised in product development, prototyping, quality control and low-volume manufacturing; it started in 2013 with a staff whose engineering background has more than ten years of sector experience. With a team experienced in 3D technologies it has offered value-added engineering services for more than seven years.
Poligon has infrastructure to handle ÜR-GE and AR-GE from idea to serial production in-house. It also serves dimensional measurement and analysis with a machine park of different technologies. Specialised in design and prototyping, Poligon is also the authorised Türkiye reseller of Scantech 3D scanners and HP, Stratasys and Zortrax 3D printers.

Rapid Prototyping
Rapid prototyping manufactures one-to-one or near-strength samples to catch errors before serial production. Low volumes such as 1–100 pieces can be made in hours or days depending on geometry. FDM builds filament layer by layer; SLA cures photopolymer with a UV laser; MJF fuses PA12 powder with HP Multi Jet; SLS sinters powder polyamide with a laser; DMLS sinters metal powders. After data is received the technology is chosen by need and expected performance.
Design and Engineering
Design and engineering is a branch of product development and covers industrial design and mechanical design for manufacture. Poligon lists industrial product design, plastic-part design, mechanism design, electronics packaging design and reverse engineering as specialties. ÜR-GE and AR-GE from idea to serial production run on this infrastructure.
Product Development
Poligon solves projects from idea through to before serial production. Product development covers conceptualisation, design, development and marketing. The process is concept, industrial design, mechanical design, analysis, prototype, test and validation, rapid manufacturing, serial production and quality control. Mechanical design produces serial-production-ready part data under production disciplines, operating conditions, regulations and tests. Virtual prototyping includes plastic-flow, static/dynamic and mouldability analyses; physical prototyping uses 3D printing, silicone moulds, machining and trial moulds.
