As the Polat Tasarım family we of course wish to speak about ourselves. Polat Tasarım is an engineering firm specialised in product development, prototyping, quality control and low-volume manufacturing; it started in 2015 with a staff whose engineering background has more than ten years of sector experience. With a team experienced in 3D technologies it has offered value-added engineering services for more than six years.
Polat Tasarım has infrastructure to handle ÜR-GE and AR-GE work from idea to serial production in-house. It also serves dimensional measurement and analysis quality-control topics with a machine park of different technologies. With these competences and high technology it supports customers in bringing product to market in the shortest time at the lowest cost with the right solution.

Industrial Product Design
Industrial product design is the professional practice of designing products people use every day. Designers focus on how the product looks, how it works, the value it adds and the user experience. Aesthetics are the first purchase criterion; the product should be comfortable and easy to use. Packaging, assembly and unboxing are considered. Target audience, budget, production economics and sales targets are planned into the design.
Prototyping and Low-Volume Manufacturing

The product-development page lists physical prototyping as 3D printing, silicone moulds, machining and trial moulds; rapid manufacturing is low-volume production after validation for pilot or real tests. Product Development
Product development covers conceptualisation, design, development and marketing of new or newly branded products. Polat’s process lists concept, industrial design, mechanical design, analysis, prototype production, test and validation, rapid manufacturing, serial production and quality control. Mechanical design prepares parts for serial-production data under production disciplines, operating conditions, regulations and test conditions. Validation uses virtual prototyping (plastic flow, static/dynamic, mouldability) and physical prototyping (3D print, silicone mould, machining, trial moulds).
