Köysan Deniz Şanzımanları

Since 1977, Köysan has manufactured marine gearboxes at its production facility in the İMES Industrial Estate, Dudullu, Istanbul. Nearly half a century of experience has made it one of Türkiye's most established marine gearbox manufacturers. The company produces more than five models in two main product groups, mechanical and hydraulic. All gearboxes are built with high-grade grey cast iron (GG25) housings, gears are machined to precise tolerances on CNC machines, and every unit undergoes comprehensive testing under dynamic load before leaving the factory. The products are used across a wide range of vessels, from fishing boats to pleasure yachts and from commercial craft to speedboats. A flexible design that adapts to different engine configurations and twin-engine system adaptation allow a suitable solution for every project. Reduction ratios from 1:1 to 3:1 and SAE 1 to SAE 5 flywheel housing compatibility are offered. More than 30,000 units are in active service in over 30 countries; the TCG Nusret museum ship and around 100 boats of the Turkish Naval Forces are equipped with Köysan gearboxes. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and the products carry the CE mark under the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
