Filkar develops and manufactures air compressors, air brake systems and brake kit solutions for the agricultural and commercial vehicle sectors. With more than 40 years of manufacturing experience, the company has an engineering and production infrastructure that manages design and engineering, manufacturing, assembly, final validation and product life testing in an integrated way. Filkar does not act merely as a supplier in its customer relationships. With its technical expertise, project management support, flexible organisation and sustainable quality approach, it positions itself as a solution partner at every stage from design to series production. The company is a direct line supplier to OEMs, operates an IATF 16949 quality management system and runs end-to-end integrated process management with 100% traceability. Founded in 1984 by Mustafa Fil in a 150 m² workshop, Filkar produced its first single-piston air compressor in 1985. It became a line supplier to OTOKAR in 1989, started working with CNH Industrial Italy as Tier 1 in 2012 and began supplying air compressor sets for Türk Traktör's New Holland and Case models. In 2020 it moved to its new 30,000 m² plant in Konya's 4th organised industrial zone, and became a line supplier to JOHN DEERE in 2021 and SDF (Same Deutz-Fahr) in 2022. The production line covers machining with horizontal and vertical CNC machining centres, driven and non-driven lathes, grinding and honing machines, and non-machining processes with pressing, forming and robotic welding. Honing of critical parts such as compressor blocks, cylinder liners and hydraulic brake cylinders is done in-house. All production is tracked with SPC charts and an MES system.
