Erse Strafor manufactures EPS foam boxes, CNC-cut protective packaging and cold-chain solutions in Tarsus.
About
We started in 2014 in a 300 m² workshop in İstanbul İkitelli, making leak-tight foam crates for fish markets. In 2017 the first CNC cutting line opened custom-cut packaging; in 2020 medical shipping boxes and cassette ice packs added cold-chain logistics.
Today the plant has 2,400 m² of indoor area and ships nationwide to more than 350 corporate customers across six sectors from food to construction. Every item leaving the plant is a shield for the product and the brand.
Erse produces foam boxes, CNC-cut protective packaging and cold-chain solutions for food, medical, e-commerce and industrial shipping.

Products
Cassette Ice Packs and Gel
Cassette ice packs and cooling gels used with the foam boxes weigh 260–480 g. With cassette packs an internal -18°C can be held for up to 48 hours, as published for medical logistics. Closed-cell EPS slows heat transfer for frozen food and vaccine shipments. They ship with the boxes from Tarsus.
CNC-Cut Protective Packaging
L/U profiles, compression blocks, bottle-jar trays and full-wrap inserts are CNC-cut from CAD data. Custom jobs match the product geometry to the millimetre. Injection moulding and hot-wire CNC run in the same Tarsus plant. Any size outside stock moulds is made as a custom tool or CNC cut.
EPS Foam Boxes
Ice-cream boxes, leak-tight fish crates, medical shipping boxes and general transport boxes are produced. Lidded and leak-tight options cover 0.5–30 kg. Hygienic, odourless EPS that does not hold moisture is used for meat, fish, dairy and ice-cream shipments. Dispatch is from the Tarsus plant.

CNC Hot-Wire Cutting
The first CNC cutting line opened custom packaging in 2017. Pre-expansion, ageing, moulding/CNC and inspection-dispatch are the four published steps. Density is set in the 10–30 kg/m³ range. Stock items are committed for 24-hour dispatch.
Made-to-Measure Production
CNC cutting and injection moulding produce designs that match the product geometry. Any size outside stock moulds is a custom tool or CNC cut. Dimensions, quantity and destination are requested for same-day quoting. Four steps from bead to dispatch run in Tarsus.
Cold-Chain Solution
Cold chain is published at up to 48 hours with cassette ice packs. Medical shipping boxes entered production in 2020. EPS holds heat in for frozen food and vaccine loads. Dispatch is nationwide from the 2,400 m² Tarsus plant.
