About
The foundations of Erdoğanlar Demir were laid in the 1960s by Ahmet Erdoğan. After starting in labour and transport, he entered trade at Karaköy Perşembe Pazarı in the 1970s and continued as a sole proprietorship until 1993.
Through partnerships with European and Chinese producers, the company supplies flat products from stock lists or as project lots.

Pre-Painted Sheet
Pre-painted sheet is in Erdoğanlar Demir’s flat range. The service centre prepares pre-painted coil and sheet by slitting and cut-to-length. Supply from European and Chinese mill partners is published. Pre-painted sheet is used in facades, roofing and fabrication where painting after forming is not wanted.
Galvanized Sheet
Galvanized sheet is listed on Erdoğanlar Demir’s features page with CR, pre-painted, HR, CK45 and aluzinc. Coil slitting, cut-to-length, polishing and core reduction are offered at the same plant. Galvanized sheet is used where corrosion resistance is needed in roofing, ducting and light construction. Supply is from stock lists or project lots.
Cold-Rolled Sheet
Cold-rolled sheet is on Erdoğanlar Demir’s flat-product list. Since 1993 the service centre has supplied flat products from European and Chinese mill partners from stock lists or as project lots. Cold-rolled coil is dispatched as strip or sheet after cut-to-length and slitting. It is used in sheet-metal work, white goods and thin-gauge fabrication.

Cut to Length
Cut-to-length at Erdoğanlar Demir is cutting coil to sheet length. It is done in the same service centre as slitting, polishing and core reduction. Dispatch is from the Kartal/Samandıra plant. Sheet is used as stock or project lots before guillotine and laser cutting.
Polishing
Polishing is on Erdoğanlar Demir’s service list. Flat-sheet surface is polished or ground; it is applied for CR and stainless-like finishes. It is in the same flow as slitting and cut-to-length. It is used for visible sheet and before stainless cladding.
Coil Slitting
Coil slitting is an Erdoğanlar Demir steel-service. CR, galvanized, pre-painted, HR, CK45 and aluzinc coil is slit to customer strip width. Since 1993 the company has supplied flat product from European and Chinese mill partners from lists or project lots. It produces strip for thin-gauge fabrication and coil-fed press lines.
