Ege Yıldız is Mazhar Zorlu Holding’s plastic-pipe brand at İzmir AOSB, selling drip and sprinkler pipes in its agriculture range.
About
In 1959, when even importing plastic resin was difficult in Turkey, Mazhar Zorlu founded what became Ege Yıldız and Egeplast. He had started in contracting in İzmir (Piyale factory, Varyant Road) before entering plastics via pharmaceutical tubes and housewares, then set up Ege Yıldız Plastik Pazarlama ve Sanayi A.Ş. to make plastic pipe, fittings and related products.
In 1960 the company began producing building and agricultural irrigation pipes and fittings. After Petkim opened in 1965, feedstock supply improved. In 1973 Egeplast was formed for production; Ege Yıldız kept domestic sales and marketing through dealers and project channels. Egeplast now runs the 80,000 m² mill (55,000 m² indoor) in İzmir Atatürk OSB.

LDPE eco drip laterals
The AYPE Eco page lists plain LDPE drip laterals 16–90 mm. Eco plain 16–32 mm is 2.5 atm; other rows are 3.2 atm including 75/5.6 mm PN4 and 90/6.7 mm PN4. Smooth-bore laterals without in-line emitters for agricultural drip systems.
Eko Drip / Ege Drip irrigation pipes
The portfolio table lists 16 mm labyrinth drip pipe at 2 LT and 4 LT, spacings 20–100 cm. Eko Drip is 2.5 atm; Ege Drip and Ege PC Drip are 3.2 atm. The agriculture catalogue describes a six-hole dual-path emitter that splits flow at the outlet to reduce clogging. Uses include greenhouse, citrus, olive, orchard, vineyard and field crops.
PEP sprinkler irrigation pipe
The PEP product page lists 75 / 90 / 110 mm, 5 m and 6 m lengths, with SDR 26 on several rows. The agriculture catalogue defines PEP as latch HDPE sprinkler pipe Ø75–125 mm in 5 and 6 m lengths; KPEA clamp pipe is Ø125–160 mm. Black, demountable, above-ground; TSE / ISO 9000.

Drip irrigation pipe manufacturing (AOSB mill)
The agriculture range (Eko Drip, Ege Drip, Ege PC Drip, AYPE laterals) is made at the 80,000 m² İzmir Atatürk OSB mill. About assigns production to Egeplast A.Ş. and domestic sales to Ege Yıldız. The catalogue cites TS EN ISO 9261 and 16 mm 2/4 LT labyrinth tables.
Egeplast testing laboratory
The laboratory page publishes Egeplast Testing Laboratory documents: price list, impartiality statement and complaint procedure. Methods include TS EN ISO 3126, 1183-1, 1133-1, 6259 and 1167. Dimensional, density, MFR and pressure tests are run at the same AOSB site.
PEP/KPEA sprinkler pipe manufacturing
PEP latch and KPEA clamp HDPE sprinkler pipes are defined in the agriculture catalogue at Ø75–160 mm, 5 and 6 m. They are extruded on AOSB lines under TSE sprinkler-system certificates. Black PE is made for demountable above-ground laterals.
