About
Founded in 1972 as a family company, DESA continues as Türkiye’s leading manufacturer of leather and leather goods. It was export champion in its field in Türkiye in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014, with a fully vertically integrated model.
Operations include the tannery plus women’s and men’s leather apparel, bags and accessories at two factories, and wholesale and retail distribution. Production sites in Istanbul and Düzce cover 25,500 m² in total; the Çorlu tannery covers 20,000 m². DESA serves international luxury brands including Prada, Miu Miu, Furla, Chanel, Emporio Armani and Armani Collezioni as an integrated solutions supplier.

Leather Bags
Desa states weekly capacity of 7,355 leather bags and small leather goods at Sefaköy, and 14,480 bags and leather goods per week at the Düzce OSB plant. The bag line is vertically integrated with processed leather from the 20,000 m² Çorlu tannery. OEM bags for luxury brands are made on the same base.
Leather Jackets
Women’s and men’s leather apparel is made from processed leather in 15,500 m² of indoor space at Istanbul Sefaköy. The plant states weekly garment capacity of 1,786 pieces. Leather jackets sit on the clothing lines that run in Istanbul and Düzce with material from the tannery.
Leather Coats

Bag and Small-Leather CMT
The Düzce 1st OSB plant makes bags and small leather goods from processed leather, with weekly capacity of 14,480 pieces. The Sefaköy line adds 7,355 bags and leather goods per week. CMT and own-brand orders leave on the same garment–leather-goods parkour.
Leather Tanning
The Çorlu tannery covers 20,000 m² and supplies the group’s leather apparel and bag production. Vertical integration keeps the chain from hide to garments and leather goods inside the same company. Luxury-Brand OEM Leather Manufacturing
Desa serves international luxury brands including Prada, Miu Miu, Furla, Chanel, Emporio Armani and Armani Collezioni as an integrated solutions supplier. OEM sits on the vertical model covering the Istanbul and Düzce factories and the Çorlu tannery. Since 2022 it also has a production and R&D investment in Poppi, Italy.
