Founded in 2000 as Berkem Fur & Leather, we quickly became one of the fastest-growing companies in the sector thanks to our high production standards and strong performance. By continuously renewing the facilities and chemicals we use, we move forward with an innovative approach, offering modern solutions to the leather industry. Operating with an innovative perspective in this field, which shares similarities with the textile sector, we have reached a broad production capacity in terms of colors and designs. Today, we can produce every shade and design in our color catalog as desired.
We provide services not only to our customers in cold climates but also to our business partners all over the world, from Europe to the Far East. As Berkem Fur & Leather, we have become a significant solution partner for the garment industry with our fur production. We prepare our products as semi-finished goods, and although we do not engage in garment manufacturing, we create a wide range by offering garment companies the products they need in the desired colors and specifications. We respond to our customers’ demands with our flexible production approach.
As a company that exports a significant portion of its production, we aim to further increase our total production and export share.
We envision a sustainable future through responsible production. Therefore we present our Leather Working Group (LWG) Leather Manufacturer Standard certification, aiming for greater transparency and minimal environmental impact throughout our supply chain. We craft personalized pieces in every Pantone hue, using chrome-free and metal-free processes and environmentally friendly materials.
