About
After receiving his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hochschule Hannover, Ahmet Bekmezci established Atel Tekstil in 2009 and began operating in international trade. Atel became a supplier that adopted international standards in R&D, production and export of women’s, men’s and children’s socks with respected industry brands.
It started with 320 machines, 250 employees and ISO certifications. In 2010 it worked with international brands and earned GOTS, OCS and OEKO-TEX. In 2013 it launched Wigglesteps. Certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001.
Wigglesteps comes from Atel’s sock-industry experience; each pair is described as combining comfort, durability and style with sustainable practices and design.

Children's Socks
