Tight-Head Steel Drum

Tight-head steel drum of min. 216.5 litre capacity with the top end seamed to the body, fitted with 2" filling and 3/4" vent bungs. Made of cold-rolled steel to TS 11168 EN 210 with 7-layer round seam technology. UN certified for hazardous goods of packing groups I, II and III and 100% leak tested. Options include Epoxy Phenolic internal lining, two-colour finish, screen printing and a 585 mm outer-diameter container drum.

Open-Head Steel Drum

Open-head steel drum of minimum 213 litre capacity with a fully removable top end held by a closing ring. Used to transport and store high-viscosity semi-liquid products and powder or granular solids. Made of cold-rolled steel to TS 10789 and EN 209 with 7-layer round seams, UN certified and 100% leak tested. Lever or bolt rings, inside or outside, and the IZ-TAINER® container drum are available.

Mainly used by aseptic-filling tomato paste and fruit juice concentrate producers. Bottom-end hole for aseptic filling, Epoxy Phenolic lining and steel or plastic lids are available.

Necked-in and straight cylindrical metal cans in diameters from 45 mm to 65 mm, with capacities from 75 ml to 1000 ml. Aerosol can specifications follow standards used worldwide. Outer surfaces are printed on the presses inside the production system, and the entire output passes a 100% leak test. The technical table lists diameters of 45 mm, 49 mm and 52 mm, with can heights from 96 mm to 234 mm.

MTL-2444 Metal Cologne Cap

MTL-2444 is a metal cologne cap in aluminum with an inner plastic. It is a 44 mm outer-diameter cap with a threaded plastic insert for 24 mm neck glass and PET cologne bottles. Finishes are glossy or matte gold, silver, black and rose. Al-mak produces caps, rings and shoulders from imported aluminum suitable for anodizing, and does the anodizing in its own plant.

Turnkey Drum Manufacturing Line Projects

Using technology developed through its R&D work, Izvar provides project engineering for drum, pail and fibre packaging lines and installs complete turnkey drum and pail manufacturing lines for customers in the industrial packaging sector. Line capacities range from 60 to 600 drums per hour, designed for 55 US gallon standard drums, steel pails and conical drums. Complete plants and individual drum machines are exported to many countries.

Drum Lining, Colour and Screen Printing Options

Izvar offers customer-specific options on its steel drums and pails: Epoxy Phenolic internal lining suitable for special chemicals and food, two-colour finishes, screen printing on lid and body, and screen printing on seal caps. Extra body corrugations for strength, fully drainable tops and lever or bolt closing rings can also be applied. Conical drums can have externally painted and internally lacquered steel, galvanised steel or plastic lids.
