SEMSOL N Anti-Settling Agent

SEMSOL N is an anti-settling agent for solvent-based systems; a combination of special surface-active anionic components. It is suitable for nitrocellulose lacs, asphalt and bitumen paints, epoxy resins, urethane oil resins which do not contain free isocyanate groups, chlorinated rubber systems and every type of alkyd resin system. It is used with baryte, calcite, talc, lithopone, titanium dioxide and inorganic and organic pigments and fillers; it is not recommended in metallic pigments such as aluminium paints and zinc powder. It does not affect gloss, flow, drying or stickiness. Dosage in finished paint is between 0.2% and 1%; exceeding 1% is not recommended.

SEMSOL 1288 Anti-Settling and Anti-Floating Agent

SEMSOL-1288 is an anti-settling and anti-floating agent for solvent-based systems. Chemical structure: an electroneutral salt of polycarboxylic acid with amine derivatives. As a surface-active agent it is an effective anti-settling agent obtaining pigment dispersion and anti-floating, and can be used in paints containing heavy and problematic pigments. It does not affect drying period and adhesion, helps prevent the corrosion property of paints, and increases film elasticity and stroke resistance. It is recommended in alkyd, acrylic and epoxy, urea and melamine, fatty varnishes and chlorinated rubber paints; dosage 0.1–2.0% over pigment and fillers total weight, packed in 60 kg original packages.
