Handheld inkjet printers are offered for plants without a fixed line, for low- or medium-volume production, or for marking products that cannot be moved. The light design, rechargeable battery and built-in touchscreen allow printing with the trigger. Text, date, time or counter settings are made on the device screen without a computer; maximum print height is 25.4 mm. Solvent-based ink cartridges are used for permanent, fast-drying marks on food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, plastic, wood, glass and metal parts.

FK-DS front and back labeling machine

In front-and-back labeling the pack must be positioned precisely as the label is applied. At lower counts a semi-automatic system places the product in a simple holder and slides it on a carrier between applicators; the product is held automatically when the label is applied.
