Old-to-new concrete bonding

Bostik FloPox is a solvent-free, fluid two-component epoxy adhesive used especially to provide adhesion between old and new concrete. It can be applied to the surface with a brush or roller. New concrete pouring should start within 30 minutes at the latest. It can even adhere to damp surfaces and bonds to concrete and steel.

Rebar dowelling and epoxy anchoring

Bostik GroPox is an epoxy-resin-based two-component anchoring, assembly and repair mortar. It is used for all kinds of rebar dowelling and placing of anchorage elements, and for montage and bonding of metal components to concrete or steel. Holes opened for rebar dowelling must be thoroughly cleaned with air and should be 6 mm wider than the reinforcement to be inserted. The material can be applied easily with a mortar gun.

Istanbul plants have a monthly capacity of 400 tonnes of polyurethane adhesive and 600 tonnes of polyurethane and epoxy. Production includes polyurethane-based adhesives, acrylic adhesives, filter glues and epoxy systems. In 2004 the company started producing insulation and adhesive filter glue (Protolin) and electrical insulation materials for the first time in Turkey. The range also includes the first Turkish polyurethane prepolymer.
