After toe sewing, socks go to boarding (ironing) and packaging; they are ironed on a conveyor system and passed to packing. The wash department uses two Levatek washing machines and two high-capacity wet-wash, drying and extracting machines. Pre-washing can be applied on request; Lavatec machines can wash with antibacterial treatments (Sanitized, Aegis, Purista), Aloe Vera, silicone and various essences. After washing and ironing, goods are packed in the brand’s packaging and dispatched.

After knitting, customers receive toe sewing, washing, forming and packaging (labeling and boxing). The production-process diagram lists washing, finishing and ironing, then quality control; each pair is inspected before shipment. Every batch undergoes strict temperature-controlled industrial washing and automated drying cycles, treated with eco-friendly softeners for dimensional stability and predictive shrinkage control. Post-washing, socks are transferred to the professional steam-boarding line; under calibrated heat and pressure every pair is ironed, molded and stabilized according to international sizing matrices.

Toe closing is completed with motorized sewing machines and, at Mute Socks, on Conti-Complett or single-head toe-closing machines. In-house washing and drying machines apply dermatologically appropriate antibacterial cleaning; Mute Socks can also apply pre-wash or silicone wash on request. Products from the line are boarded on fully automatic steam ironing machines that optimize temperature, time and pressure. Metal detectors on packaging conveyors remove any metal fragments that may have mixed in during production.

Sock washing, packing and dispatch. Socks that come out toe-closed are washed and packed according to the set instructions. Linking, washing, boarding and shaping all run in-house at EGE SOCKS, for consistent sizing and a clean finish on every pair. The open toe is closed by hand-guided linking or automatic toe closing. Washing relaxes the knit, removes spinning oils and reveals the true colour and hand. Washed socks are pulled onto foot-shaped forms and heat-set so boarding locks the final size and silhouette. Drying is controlled so the given shape holds. Inspection against the approved sample covers measurements, knitting faults, colour, toe seam and labelling. An ISO 9001:2015 quality system is applied.
