About
It started as Mercan Mühendislik in a 150 m² workshop in Izmir 5th Industrial Site, doing engineering projects and sheet-metal parts for BMC buses and trucks.
Renamed Mercan Makine, it moved to a 1,000 m² workshop in Izmir Pınarbaşı. Besides existing work it made patented leather-tanning machines and exported them to 15 countries. With a growing team it took ISO 9001 and began supplying large firms.
It moved to an 8,000 m² factory in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone. With a young, skilled team and Industry 4.0 applications it became a supplier to the world’s largest companies.
