İstanbul Isıl İşlem A.Ş. has provided heat treatment services to Turkish industry since 1991. Its installed plasma (ion) nitriding systems meet customers' nitriding and nitrocarburizing requirements. The company operates on the principle of quality, on-time and economical service; "full loyalty to customer requirements" is the approach guiding its work. Since its foundation İstanbul Isıl İşlem A.Ş. has pioneered many "firsts" in Turkey's commercial heat treatment sector. It started in 1992 by commissioning the first atmosphere-controlled double-chamber furnace in the commercial heat treatment sector, and in 1993 introduced plasma nitriding, a process never before applied industrially in Turkey. The hot-wall pulsed plasma nitriding furnace built and commissioned in 2010 was the first commercial pulsed plasma nitriding furnace produced in Turkey. Following technological developments closely, the company later focused on vacuum heat treatment and plasma nitriding. Systematic work, production and quality control at every stage, and recording and tracking of all applications are standard practice. Since 2016 the company has also manufactured furnaces and provided plant installation/support services; under the i-nit® brand it offers hot-wall, cold-wall and laboratory-scale furnaces as a domestic alternative for nitriding furnace needs. In June 2020 the first cold-wall plasma nitriding furnace built under the i-nit® brand (i-nit cold800) was commissioned. Today the company runs heat treatment services with 4 plasma nitriding and nitrocarburizing furnaces and continues furnace manufacturing with hot-wall and cold-wall plasma nitriding furnaces.
