Dofer Yapı Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was founded in Ankara on 23 January 1985, first as a reinforcing-bar trader. Cut-and-bent rebar started at Sincan Başkent OSB in 2005; steel mesh was added in 2015. Başkent OSB capacity is published as 1,000 t bar, 33,525 t mesh and 37,200 t cut-and-bent rebar (71,725 t total) on 14,400 m². A second mesh plant was built in Karabük OSB in 2017 (Organize Sanayi Yolu Cad. No:1/3).
