Healthy and good work can be achieved in Türkiye. For the Muslim world, about one third of the world’s population, very successful results have been reached in “Halal Product Certification” under the World Halal Council and through the work of GIMDES in Türkiye. The World Halal Council, of which GIMDES President Dr Hüseyin Kami Büyüközer became honorary chair, has formed a universal “Halal Product Market” with more than 80 certification bodies. What remains is to place as many high-quality TURKISH products as possible onto the rapidly growing world halal market.

We are ambitious in Halal personal-care and cosmetics! As of October 2011, with nearly 40 Halal Product Certificates in personal-care and cosmetic cleaning, the SPUMY brand became Türkiye’s first and only cosmetics and cleaning-product brand of this kind. Personal care includes 6 toothpaste types, foam hand soap, adult hair and body shampoo, baby hair-body shampoo, baby care oil, acne cream, night cream, cellulite cream, hair oil, moisturiser, wet wipes, pocket wet wipes and a travel dental set; cleaning variety has also been increased.

After more than ten years in industrial and personal-care products and three years of R&D, the firm launched Türkiye’s first Halal personal-care products. Interest in SPUMY Halal personal-care products at international fairs and from firms and consumers worldwide is substantial. With the Halal Product Certificates obtained, the aim is to take the products, made with great care, onto the world market.
